Kill Eddie for Leave, burn all 25 Mementos for Live, or bring two Gold Rings to the Rabbit Hole for Rest. Silver Pines has three endings, and all of them branch from one conversation with Eddie Velvet after the final boss in A Place That Ends. Rest is the best ending and the only one with a secret boss.
| Ending | What you need | Final action | Achievement |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leave | Nothing extra | Choose Kill Eddie Velvet | Ending: Leave, "Complete the contract: Kill Eddie Velvet" |
| Live | All 25 Mementos | Choose Leave, then burn the Mementos in the Shack furnace | Ending: Live, "Burn it all" |
| Rest | Both Gold Rings | Choose Leave, then use the rings at the Rabbit Hole | Ending: Rest, "Return to the Rabbit Hole" |
How many endings does Silver Pines have?
Silver Pines has three endings: Leave, Live and Rest. The Steam achievement list has one achievement for each, so the set is fixed at three.
The choice comes after you beat the final boss covered in silver pines mount siah kopa. Save at the Phone beside the arena, go right through the passage and talk to Eddie Velvet twice. The game then offers Kill Eddie Velvet or Leave.
The names look backwards at first. The dialogue option called Leave does not give you the Leave ending. Killing Eddie gives Leave; walking away from him opens the Live and Rest routes.
Save at the Phone before you speak to Eddie. There is no point of no return in Silver Pines, and one Steam player reports getting all three endings in a first run, so reloading that save lets you try the other choice.
How do you get the Leave ending in Silver Pines?
Choose Kill Eddie Velvet when you talk to him. This is the normal ending and it needs no collectibles.

After the shot, Walker says "Sorry Eddie. There was no other way..." and you wake up outside the Miner Diner in the Outskirts. Answer the phone, then get into your car to play the final cutscene. If the diner and the ringing phone appear, you are on the right track.
How do you get the Live ending in Silver Pines?
Collect all 25 Mementos, choose Leave with Eddie, then burn the Mementos in the furnace in the Outskirts Shack.
- Choose Leave and walk east to return to Downtown.
- Go right, climb the ladder and talk to the NPC beside the wrecked car.
- Travel back to the Burned Man in Silver Pines Outskirts. With every Memento in hand, he asks you to burn them.
- Enter the Shack to the east, use the burning furnace and answer Yes.

The Burned Man is the check here. If he does not ask you to burn anything, you are missing Mementos. Players stuck at 24 most often miss the cat collar. You also cannot hold both the Bloody Corsage and the Old Corsage in one playthrough, and you do not need both: 25 is reachable with only one of them.
Most Mementos stay collectible until the end, but a player notes that the dream sections after some bosses cannot be revisited and contain Mementos. Grab anything shiny in those sections before you leave them.
How do you get the Rest ending in Silver Pines?
Bring both Gold Rings to the Ring Indents on the Rabbit Hole Bar's backstage wall after choosing Leave. Rest is the best ending and leads to a secret boss.
Where is the first Gold Ring?
The first Gold Ring is inside the Locked Ring Box from the Miner Diner restroom, and it opens once you fill its five Star slots.

Some guides say seven Stars, but the lid itself settles it: the constellation has five star-shaped recesses. You pick the box up at the very start of the silver pines motel route and carry it all game. One Star sits in Thelend Broadcasting: after talking to the NPC up the northern passage, pick up the Star before moving on.
Where is the second Gold Ring?
The second Gold Ring is on Alice Baker's floating body in Downtown. After choosing Leave, return to Downtown, go left and inspect her body in the water.

What do you do with both rings?
Take both rings to the Rabbit Hole Bar's backstage wall and insert them into the Ring Indents. You arrive in an alternate version of the bar.

Talk to the smoking woman on the left, then the Bartender on the right. The eastern passage opens after that conversation and leads to the secret boss. Beat it to finish Rest and unlock the "Return to the Rabbit Hole" achievement.
Which Silver Pines ending should you get first?
Get Leave first from your save beside Eddie, then reload for Live or Rest. Leave needs nothing, so it costs you only a reload.
If you are already close to 25 Mementos, Live is the next easiest because it uses the same Leave choice. Rest takes the most prep: five Stars for the ring box plus a trip back through Downtown.
