Walkthrough

Fit two 40 A fuses, use code 0002 and collect three Metal Spikes to reach the finale. This Silver Pines Mount Siah Kopa route starts after you ride the Cable Car and continues through Thelend Broadcasting to the final area. Save before inserting the last spike, then choose your ending after the final fight.

How do you reach Mount Siah Kopa by Cable Car?

Install all five Cable Station Bells and ring them in the order on the plaque above their slots to call the Cable Car.

If you still need Bell E, finish the hatch sequence covered by silver pines town hall: turn all three valves until their indicators pass the maximum, wait for the hatch to explode, then enter. Follow the button prompts when the Sheriff attacks. Afterward, collect his .44 Magnum and the bell hanging on the right. The exploded hatch and the bell in your inventory are your checks before returning to the station.

Once the Cable Car arrives, board it for Mt. Siah Kopa. After getting off, enter the safe room just ahead on the right and save. For the phone system, see silver pines how to save. An optional Hip Bag lies left and down from the mountain Cable Car Station entrance.

Leave the safe room, continue right and take the southern exit. Cross the bridge, dealing with the balloon creatures, then follow the road east at the Trail signboard. Jump the gap, climb, clear the monsters at the top and head north. You should reach a Fuse Box beside a Shack. Inspecting it gives you the next objective: two 40 A fuses. Save at the Phone inside the Shack before searching.

Where are the two 40 A fuses on Mount Siah Kopa?

Take one 40 A fuse from the broken antenna at the Weather Station and the other from the room beside the map in the Access Tunnel.

  1. Leave the Shack and go left until you reach a ledge. Climb it and continue west to the Weather Station. Check the broken antenna's Fuse Box and collect the first Electrical Fuse (40 A).
  2. Backtrack along the trail and take the stairs north into the dark Access Tunnel. Climb the stairs on the right and collect the Mt. Siah Kopa Map from the wall.
  3. Enter the northern door beside the map. The small room's Fuse Box holds the second Electrical Fuse (40 A). Check that you have both before heading back.
  4. Return to the Fuse Box near the Shack and install the fuses. Back in the Access Tunnel, the previously locked gate on the left, down the stairs, is now your route forward.

The closed tunnel gate can look like another key hunt. Its actual requirement is power from the box outside the Shack, so searching farther inside the tunnel first will not solve it. Once you can pass the gate, collect the Pipe Bomb in the room on the left if you want it, then follow the northern passage and stairs out.

Go left and climb north to Thelend Broadcasting. Take the left path and northern passage, speak to the NPC and pick up the Star after the conversation. Keep this collectible in mind if you want Ending C. Return to the previous path, go east and enter the broken drain pipe. On the other side, answer the ringing phone to speak to Mr. Jackman and save.

How do you open the Editing Bay gate in Thelend Broadcasting?

Connect the Recording Booth cables, listen to the whispered clues and enter 0002 at the Editing Bay gate.

The front door is boarded up. Enter through the hole in the wall to the right. Check the entrance TV: one of its four Studio Cams shows a door in red light. That is the visual target for the later stage puzzle.

Go north behind the counter and right into the Recording Booth. The Audio/Video Console already has a wire hanging from upper channel 2. Before completing it, return to the entrance, head east and follow the northern passage left into the Editing Area. Take the door marked Stage 1 into the Pantry, save at the Phone and collect the Technical Manual from the table. Page two gives the wiring layout.

Collect the missing cables along this route:

  1. Leave the Pantry through its right door and enter the Editing Bay beneath the Live Show light. Deal with the enemy dropping from the ceiling, then take the Cable from the console on the right.
  2. Leave for Storage to the east. Break the padlocked gate on the right and follow the northern path. An enemy bursts through the left door; clear it and collect the Cyan Lens in that room.
  3. Go east, then north just before the Backdoor Exit. Continue all the way right, clear the ceiling ambush and take the second Cable from the shelf.

Return to the Recording Booth. Match the manual: connect upper channel 2 to lower 6, upper 4 to lower 5, and upper 5 to lower 2. The check is audible: whispers repeat the clues for All Lies, Red Light, No Brakes and The Last Exit.

Those phrases can sound like a message to decode. Read them as references to VHS titles in the Editing Bay instead. Their numbers give the gate combination in the same order:

Matching VHS titleDigit
Rear View Lies0
Red Light, Dead Night0
No Brakes No Mercy0
Finale: Last Exit2

Enter 0002 into the left combination panel. The gate opens, letting you reach the chest containing the Backdoor Key. For other locks along your route, keep silver pines codes handy.

How do you get the Stage 1 Key and all three lenses?

Use the Backdoor Key to reach the Office for the Stage 1 Key, then collect Cyan in Storage, Yellow on the antenna tower and Magenta below Prop Storage.

Open the Backdoor near Storage and go outside. Descend the stairs, follow the northern passage and clear the ambush. Turn left into another northern passage and keep left past the locked Antenna route. At the end, take the southern path, then the south exit again. Climb the ledge on the right and enter the Office window.

Take the Stage 1 Key from the table, clear the overhead ambush and unlock the right door to connect the Office to the rest of the building. Return to the Pantry and unlock its northern door. You can now enter Stage 1. The left vent leads to an optional Memento; the right door leads to the Stage Light.

LensRoute and pickup check
CyanThe room opened by the enemy bursting through Storage's left door. Collect the Cyan Lens there before leaving Storage.
YellowFrom the Stage Light, go right and down to Stage A. Head left through the next room, clear the enemies and take the Tower Key from the table. Use it at the Antenna gate and climb to the Yellow Lens.
MagentaFrom Stage A, go all the way right and descend to the Workshop. Head left to Prop Storage's metal catwalk, then north. Go right through the door and down the manhole. Clear the enemy, go left, take the south exit and continue right to the Magenta Lens on a table.

Before descending to Stage A, collect the Thelend Broadcasting Map just past the stairs and unlock the right door's shortcut to Storage. The room containing the Tower Key also has a left door back to the alley, giving you a shorter return to the Antenna gate.

At the tower summit, grab Yellow and immediately retreat down the ladder. Crows attack there but stop once you leave the area. Getting out quickly is the steadier choice than lingering at the pickup.

How do you reveal the red door on Stage A?

Insert the Magenta and Yellow lenses and pull Cyan out to turn the Stage Light red and reveal the door.

Page three of the Technical Manual gives this combination. The light has three lens slots, but filling every slot is not the goal. Match the red-lit door you saw on the entrance TV. When the light is red and the door is revealed, go down to Stage A and approach it.

The Town Hall creature returns for a stronger, more aggressive rematch. Keep moving away and shoot rather than letting it walk into you. It retains its previous moves, but its pressure makes standing still a poor trade. After it falls, collect the 8 Ball Gear Shift Memento from its body. Enter the stage door to leave Thelend for the final area, A Place That Ends.

Where do you find the three Metal Spikes in A Place That Ends?

Get one spike from hanging meat behind the Bloodied Key door, one from the TV after playing the Love tape, and one beyond the electrical box with two cut wires.

Walk east, speak through the intercom and continue to the hole in the floor. Drop through, turn on your Flashlight and go left. Break the cracked wall and collect the Cassette Tape titled Love. Back outside that room, take the passage to the phone missing its Rotary Dial. Collect the Broken Key and Rusted Key from the nearby rack.

Head east and take the yellow road north to the safe room. Save and photograph the wall symbols with your Camera. They match the strange symbols on the broken phone, and the photograph preserves their left-to-right order. You can also break the beams beside the safe-room Phone for ammo.

Continue east to the broken bridge, unlock the gate on your side with the Rusted Key and follow the northern passage to the Strange Tree. Inspect it: the faint pulse marks the tree where all three spikes must go.

How do you get the spike behind the Bloodied Key door?

Jump across the broken bridge and descend the ladder. Pick up the Rotary Dial near the wrecked car, then return west to the broken phone. Install the dial and enter the photographed symbols from left to right.

The phone's coin return produces another Broken Key, and you hear Eddie and Alice's past conversation. These are your success checks. Combine the two Broken Keys into the Bloodied Key, unlock the left door and take the Metal Spike from the hanging meat. Return it to the Strange Tree.

How do you get the spike from the burning TV?

Cross the broken bridge, head east and take the northern passage. Go right to the room with a Diary Page and a bed holding a TV. Inspect the empty Tape Sleeve, then insert your Love Cassette Tape into the TV.

Wait through the video. The TV catches fire and a Metal Spike appears stuck to its screen. Collect it and insert it into the Strange Tree.

How do you reach the last spike past the electrical box?

Continue east along the main passage and jump the gap. Climb the right platform and enter the north doorway. Go left, climb the ladder and check the container beyond the right door for the Wire Cutter.

Return to the main passage and take the lower path. Clear the enemy and cut both wires at the electrical box. Go through the right door, collect the Diary Page before the floor opening and drop through. Reach the bottom, clear the enemy and enter the left door. Run left to collect the final Metal Spike.

Save before inserting the third spike into the Strange Tree. That insertion triggers the final boss fight, so finish your healing and weapon preparations first.

How do you survive the final fight and reach the ending choice?

Fight with firearms, bring plenty of healing and move to the arena's center when the boss disappears so you can dodge her return.

Her melee combos hit hard and knock you back. Keep your distance rather than trying to trade close-range hits. Headshot damage Mementos help shorten the fight; compare your guns with silver pines weapons before committing the last spike.

Be ready to dodge as she reappears. Her scream causes Madness and knocks you back when you are close. When the world turns red, she becomes more aggressive, so bring out your high-damage weapons then.

Victory teleports you again. Pick up the Polaroid Negative Memento nearby and save at the Phone. This is the final Memento you can collect and the last preparation before choosing how to finish.

Which choice gives each Silver Pines ending?

Choose Kill Eddie Velvet for Ending A, or choose Leave to pursue Ending B with all Mementos or Ending C with both Gold Rings.

Go right from the post-fight save point and through the passage. Eddie Velvet stands a few steps left. Speak to him twice to receive the two choices. Save beforehand so you have a checkpoint before committing.

Ending A: Leave

Choose Kill Eddie Velvet. Despite the ending's name, the dialogue option Leave starts the other routes. Ending A has no additional collectible requirement.

After shooting Eddie, you return outside the Miner Diner in Silver Pines Outskirts. Answer the phone and enter your car to trigger the final cutscene.

Ending B: Live

Collect every Memento, choose Leave when speaking to Eddie and walk east to return to Downtown. Go right, climb the ladder and speak to the NPC beside the wrecked vehicle.

Return to the Burned Man in Silver Pines Outskirts. With every Memento collected, he asks you to burn them in the Furnace. Enter the Shack to the east, interact with the burning furnace and choose Yes to trigger Ending B. This route suits a run where you have already completed the Memento collection.

Ending C: Rest

Obtain both Gold Rings and choose Leave. The first ring comes from the Locked Ring Box in the Miner Diner Restroom, which opens once you fill its five Star slots. For the earlier area's route, see silver pines motel. The second ring is on Alice Baker's floating body: after returning to Downtown, go left and inspect her body in the water.

Take both rings to the Rabbit Hole Bar's backstage wall and insert them into the Ring Indents. You arrive in an alternate bar. Speak to the smoking woman on the left, then the Bartender on the right; the eastern passage opens after that conversation.

Prepare at the Storage Container beyond the passage. Go east and speak to the Server, then enter the right door to trigger his transformation and the secret fight. Run past the obstacles during the chase. At the dead end, watch for falling debris, duck under the long poke and leave the poison blob's damaging area. When the ground breaks, another chase carries you toward the Miner Diner for the last stand.

After winning, speak to what remains of the boss and leave through the door for Ending C's final cutscene. This route adds another fight, so choose it when you want that final challenge and have both rings ready.

You have now finished Mount Siah Kopa, Thelend Broadcasting and your chosen ending. For another run or an earlier chapter you want to revisit, return to silver pines walkthrough.
